I'm sorry if I offended you on C&L. As we are both of like mind and I'm excited to see you are a rare breed who actually walks the walk instead of just ranting online I'd hate for us to get off one the wrong foot. Instead, it would be great to work together.
My main point in that comment on C&L was this:
Only a drama queen and/or ignorant person would carry around signs with Hitler or Nazi comparisons. Especially for only one president since - as you mentioned in one of your posts on this blog - Obama is continuing Bushes policies and actually increasing them in places. Especially since Clinton killed about as many Iraqis as Bush Jr. did.

We are run by a war-mongering, oil-glutton, Wall Street owned government. As true liberals we can't pretend Bush's atrocities are worse than Democratic ones just because of party. We also can't pretend that we don't have our own crazed radicals hellbent on violence - Remember Seattle WTO riots?
We may feel our actions are noble, but so do the teabaggers. And the teabaggers see us as loons. Neither side realizes we're really on the same team - the losing team.
Keep trying to find common ground with your rightwing co-workers and neighbors, keep trying to educate them on reality instead of the Fox-adled reality they see the world through and keep me posted on any ways you feel myself and others can be better activists.
