Blue Dog Coalition is an organization of so called "conservative" Democrats. They are focused on fiscal responsibility and accountability, or so they say. I think they are Republicans that couldn't win a primary as a Republican and run as Democrats. They gain all the benefits of being a Democrat but obstruct or derail the work of other Democrats. They can't support the current health care bill without
"significant progress" which is code for making sure insurance companies can continue to deny coverage and over charge Americans. Considering the current bill, which I have not seen, has got to be watered down and loaded with earmarks as it is, their demands would further corrupt the process. This is helping me decide what to do once I graduate. I would love to make my life's work the systematic destruction of the political careers of the Blue Dogs.

I so totally agree. They are worthy of even more contempt then out-and-out Republicans, it that is even possible, since they don't have the courage of theyr convicitons.
